QS130SS lays only 1.5
sones (assumed in normal condition or normal speed) until 5 sones (on high
speed). It indicated that it is quiet enough for silent kitchen. Thats why the
Broan-NuTone LLC claim that this series is the quitest one in his category. It
is due to the unique blade design inside the fan, the unique axial blade
technology. Perhaps we can whisper each other near the hood, it because of the
silent of QS1 Series of Broan, great.
Broan QS130SS-Features
On that sones, this
range hood inhale the smoke and adors with flow rate about 110 CFM untill 220
CFM (cubic feet per minute). The other feature are the available of two exhaust
fan (as same as series 413004) and completed with two 50 watt halogen lamp
design (remember that the bulb are not included). For QS130SS, the special
colour is stainless steel. What else? O yeah please look at the overall design,
you will find that the design of Broan QS130SS is as
simple as series 413004, and of course it is easy to clean it up.
Broan QS130SS-Maintenance
What about the
maintenance? Generally, the cover is easy to clean. The fan motor is lubricated
with the permanent lubrication system, so it durable for years (free of
services).

The weight of QS130SS is only 18 pounds
or about 9 kilogram. The dimension is 20 inch of wide x 30 inch of length x and
7.2 inch of thick. It come with contemporary style, colour stainless steel,
main material also stainless steel, and the place of installation is as same as
series 413004 = under the kitchen cabinet and easy to install with keyhole
mounting slots. The exhaust/discharge is optional : 3 1/4 inch x 10 inch of
vertical discharge, 3 1/4 inch x 10 inch of horizontal discharge, 7 inch round
of vertical discharge, and non-ducted recirculation requires 2 clean sense TM charcoal
filters-BPSF30- that sold separately. Non ducted and ducted operation, we can
choose which one, this range hood can do that.
