Range hood by Air
King, it is air king 30 range hood (ds1308). 30 inch is the
wide, and stainless steel is the finished cover. Then there is blower which has
flow rate about 200 CFM (Cubic Feet per Minutes) and 6.5 sones of noisy
(horizontal ducted) or 6.0 sones (vertical ducted). About the speed control, it
was done by the infinite speed control. And then if talking about the light,
just like Broan, this Air King type is not oncluded the bulb into the box. The
bulb accepted up to 60 watt. It is exist on the top and available in two

price , DS1308 Air King range hood come with contemporary stylist design and
well standard features. Accomodate the convertible ducting 3 1/4 inch x 10 inch
of horizontal or vertical exhaust ducting, 7 inch round ducting (optional Air
King E-22A round collar with damper adapter and back draft damper(not included)
), or even ductless is available too(ductless mode mean it need additional
filter=RF34 Charcoal odor filter -not included-). The charcoal rests between
the metal grease filter (RF35) and fan. The hood position of install is under
the kitchen cabinet, easy and straight forward to install (dont forget to follow
the manual instruction because it describe the easy installation there).

The Control panel is
handled by dual knob which has two light levels and a variable rotary speed
control. The lighting handled by one piece of bulb up to 60 watt. Then the fan speed
can be continuously variable adjusted by rotary control. Noisy is true, but
only happened in high speed. it worth with the effective work in sucking the
smoke and odors very well.
The power supply
needed is 120 Volts. The driving motor that drive the blade is permanently
lubricated, so we need not worry about the maintenance. Its motor which consist
of single coil also thermally protected, so it is definitely safety. Again, we
need not to worry about.
What inside the box
are : Range hood unit, the motor blower, grease filter RF35, Control switches (
2 knob), light lens (bulb not included), damper and collar, mounting screws,
and instruction sheets.
