Broan F403004 is one of F40000 Series. It comes with providing flexible installation in four difference ways : install ducted 3 1/4 inch x 10 inch of vertical installation,  3 1/4 inch x 10 inch of horizontal installation, 7 inch round of vertical installation, and non-ducted installation. The non-ducted type use filter model 41F that sold separately.

While F403004 using 3 1/4 inch x 10 inch discharge, it operate in flow rate 160 CFM (Cubic Feet per Minute) and 6.5 sones. But if using 7 inch round discharge, it operate in 190 CFM.

Great budget for great range hood. It is true, we can get the nice working range hood with efficiency budget. The fan is working well. It suck alot of smoke and odors indeed. But in high speed, the sound is noisy, its oke for the price class. The sound is rather noisy but as a range hood, it is working well. Then if we do not have kitchen cabinet above the stove, we can add a wall mounting bracket (BR-35) to install this F403004 range hood to the wall. This mounting bracket BR-35 is sold separately, we can find and buy it

But if there is cabinet above the stove, just install range hood under it.

There are another three feature about : diswasher (safe alumunium grease filter), provided with lamp lens that contribute light over the cook top and the bulb accepts up to 75 watts bulb type (bulb not included), the box also include 3 1/4 inch x 10 inch of damper or adapter and 7 inch round adapter, the hood is available work in an ADA-compliant application.

No worry how to install, because it is definitely easy. For man perhaps only need time about only 30 minutes, and done. Just provide the screws, tools, and read the manual book, and then walaaa.....it was done. So it save more money.
